hay This is part of my little short story by Krista blomquist I realy shouldn't have to say this but pleas dont steal my sucky story. Or I will do bad things to you -.-

DANNY AND THE ALLEY


"The same thing day after , day after , day. I get up go to shool come home sleep. My life is way too bleak , I have worm gold rimed chocalat brow eyes , dark brown hair , lightly taned skin. There is nothing rememberable or uneak about me. But there is no reason to put my self down I just have to suck it up and get a life! hahaha... get a life, me. Man I reely have to stop talking to my self.
"By mom." I said walking out the door with my books going to the end of my new homes long drive way and going down the sidewalk. Luckly I didn't have to change schools when we moved.
"Hay Danny!"a voice called out to me I terned arownd. My friend Jake was comeing to walk with me to school. We've been friends for a long time. We where almoste at the stop sine with the dent in it from when my sisters exboy friend got drunk crashed into it 3 days ago. I stumbled a bit dizzey
Jake heryed and helped me stand.
"Whow , Danny," he said stopin us, "did you take your iorn pill today?"
"No",I said meekly standing my self up on my feet."I'll be okay," I smiled at him. Jake wasn't the most handsom guy he was an avrig boy , he could'nt make frinds with most people with his personality. he has strate dark brown hair and silver green eyes.
"You know you need to take better cair of your self Im not always going to be arownd to baby set you." he said with his hands in his coat pockets up.
"Jake your 5 months older than me and if I wernt arownd to watch you, " I said caching up to him , " you would problebly be siting in juvie makeing lisen plates." A while bake Jake was realy recles and and down right kill some one that looked at him rong. He was used to being made fun of but one day a boy named Rian pushed him to far after school there was a crowed of kids watch them fight and Jake was geting beat, till he pulled a knife out. I knew Jake wasnt thinking clearly when he did what he did and I don't think I was that day eather. He was going for Rian when I steped in front of the 2 inch long pocket knife and was stabed in the right arm. Every one was quiet. The expreshen on Jakes face was fear and shock once he relised what he had done.
' Hay... t-this is not what you want...J-Jake you dont want to hert any one r-rght...not me not Rian your b-beter than that don't l-lower your self this way.' he knew what I ment and we have been friends ever senc then.
But every time I were a T-shirt or tank top and my scar is visubly he won't look me in the eyes so I mostly were long sleevs and coats.
At school me and Jake have diferent lunches so I sit by my self or with the speshal kids that were some what mental they are always so interesting to watch.
After scool I whent to the book stoor on main street and got some books and a punk rock mag. The book stoor "books on main" was on the main road (main st) and on the side was an ally I have always known about the ally and have looked at maps I could get home much faster that way and it was starting to rain. So I opened my unbrela and started to walk down the ally. Whats it ment to come threw here Jake told me not to use the allyes on main street they are to narow only 2 meeters or so wasn't that bad. It has blood prince grifeety and no intruders .
I gigled "This is so stupid! why would people right crap like that", there was a putle I tride to avoyed it but I manighed to fall flat on my butt slideing on my back hiting my hed and threw my umbrela . "Ow..." I growned ",this was my good coat too and my uniforms trashed." I herd some tusling "huu? I-Is enyone there?" nothing. I winched and grasped my arm where Jake cut it it was throbing in pain it hert realy bad but not to the pont of tears.It did that some times Jakes kinfe was made from a metal that makes it do that. I looked arownd to see if I could grab something I only saw the sides of brike bildings and rain it was geting real dark real fast. I tride to stand but I was to week and geting dizzy ang drowsy from lake of iron. I looked for my unbrela.
"Need some help?" a deepish but soft voice said I looked up and couldnt see the person well. Is he a good guy or a bad guy is he a molester or is he going to help me or hert me?!
"N-No thank you sir Im allright." I said looking up at him with a fake half smile. I trided to move my right arm to suport me It gave out and I fell on my back agen.
"Ow."I said grabing my arm agen. Then he towered over me and piked me up and started to walk away with me.
"Hay...put m..me down! I can...I can...wa" I was geting realy sleepy and the last thing I herd where the foot steps of the stranger that held me in his arms and his words.
"Is okay your going to a safe place now." The rain slid down my cheaks with my tears , as I lost conshesnus.

It is worm I was in a lacey red gold bed with a canopy that was thin and see threw. I was in a room with fernicher that matched the bed as did the walls and seeling. The room had old fasheny french doors. I sat up rubed my hed.I was in a silk night gown.
"What is this where am I?"I asked my self. There was a creeking sowned and the french doors opend and a guy that looked a bit olded than me walked in. I layed back down befor he saw me awake. I herd him come clowser to me his foot steps were the same as the man in the allys. Was he him?
"Still out huh?" he sied "Poor thing." he got clowser and was leening on the bed." Hay... Time to get up." he said softly. What is he going to do to me? He moved the sheet from my hed and was looking at me. I was tearing and shaking like a leaf."Oh! Hay Hay Hay dont cry its ok your safe now. he sat next to me and wiped tears from my cheaks." You should know better than to go down strang allys by your self speshaly in the cindishen you were in. Im Tony Whats your name?" he looked at me with a kind grin.
"My names is Danny and I would like to go home , Tony." I loooked at him intensly the same way I looked a Jake when I needed him to help me or some thing.
"Hah. Yahh I know and right nows the best time to go every one is past out this early in the morning." he got up and reach in to the dresser next to the doors. He puled out a pair of black pants with safty pins up the seems of the legs then he opened a other drowr and puled out a small black and purple striped shirt and taterd black faded coat.
"Put this on , your uniform and stuff is still wet."he tosed me the cloths. he was looking at me with an acwerd silence.
"Umm? can you like... leav or tern arownd?" a asked him.
"Oh yahh sorry."he blushed and left the room.
"Okay?" I got up and changed out of the night gown and put on what he gave me the coat slevs were a bit to long.
"You dun yet?" he asked from behined the doors.
"Yes." he came in he hade put on a long black coat and small black back pack hanging from is sholder. He has black hair but I think it was nacheral. he had a nice face sparkly dark brown eyes and nice playful smile.
"Nice, fits okay?
"Yahh" I put my hands in my pockets."so what now?"
"We get go'n." he put his arm arownd me and showed me out the door. It was a bar out side the doors of that nice room was a bar. There was people laying on pool tables and chairs. Behined the bar table there was a girl in blue jeens and white t-shirt with a stylish vest. She had redish brown hair like Jake and green eyes that looked worm'n full of life.
"Hay, Tony!" she came up to us "Shes up?" shesaid looking at me with a grin."He missed the party last night. He was up waching you all night."she blerted out. Tony looked away ."Ha ha. My name is Shailya , yours?
"Danny."I said timily.
"Well time to go right If any of thees guys find her she would be moled in a secant." Tony said
"Yah , shes prity cute." Shailya said as my and Dany went threw the kichen and out the back door in to the ally.
Tony terned to look at me and asked, "Are you okay , Danny?" he was waching me shake agen.
"Yahh, I just need to get home and take my iron pill, thats why im like this I have low iron in my blood," I said
" So thats why..."he said but like he was taking about something difrent.
I looked at his arm still draped over my neck.
"Um..."
"Umm?"he looked at me queshcheniably.
"Y-your arm." I tired to not studer but failed. He looked at me with cold nerow eyes and swiftly pined me no to the wall off the ally. He was fearsly strong and the early morning breez , made his hair fly in his face a bit."T-Tony?" the riflecshion off my self in his eyes was fear and I was cot off gard."What are you?.." He just looked at me intencly, I started to shiver. He leaned in clowser his kind eyes where gone like they never exsisted.I swer my eyes couldn't make my eyes open bigger than they were.
"You want me to let you go?" he reach down and grabed both of my rists with one of his hands. He held them abov my hed. he came closer to my face i tirned my hed. "Danny, dont think you can get away from me that easily. Just so like be for." Toney held me by the chin with his thumb and index finger. Are faces where an inch apart.
"DANNY!" a person yelled. Tony and I looked it was Jake standing at the corner of the ally panting hevily.
"Jake!"I called out. Tony let me go and backed up slowly. I brot my arms down slowly leaning back on the bilding. Peolpe started opening doors and windows along the ally they looked liked some of the people that were passed out at the bar. They all looked hard core.
Jake stood up tall looking at Tony.
"Well as you can see," Tony stufed his hands in his pockets cashualy , with a strate face ," You cant beat all us , by your self." He reached in to his bag and poled out a small pipe and grabed the tip and extended it."Now , shall we?" He was redy so was Jake. They lunged for each other.
"No wait!" I yelled my hed started to pownd with pain and I droped to the drownd clenching my hed.
"Danny!"Jake and Tony yelled in seenk. Runing over to me and neeled down.
"Danny are you okay?"Jake winched and looked and looked at Tony angrly." You ass hole did you slip her some thing?"Jake was yelling at him reclesly.
"Never, she needs Iron shes still week!" Tony growled at Jake. They grabed each others colers growling.
"Hay! Stop dont fight! I grabed bot of there rists.They looked suprised."Pleas," I started to tear,"Pleas, dont fight," I looked up at Tony sinserly."Tony If you let me go with Jake and get my pills. I promes I will come back If thats what you won't. Okay, I promes? I gave him a small smile.
He flinched and blushed lightly.
"Promes huh? Well I'll have you know that I have little trust in any one but," he tusled my hair ," but i trust you." he smiled back at me and stood up and walked back to the bar. Every one elts went in there bildings too.
Jake puled me up and his hair was in his face so I couldnt see his eyes. I reached up and toched his cheek.
"Hay Jake you okay?" a strand of tears ran down his face."Jake?" I said softly. Jake swung his arms arownd me.
"Don't ever scar me like that agen!" he hollerd holding me tightly. I hugged him back.
"Im sorry." I was sorry for scaring his but not for what I did I dont think he thinks that Im comeing back like I said to Tony. " lets go kay?" I said geting out of the holed. He wiped his face.
"Yahh."
The next day I was on the top of the roof leting the misty air sooth me. My mom was at work and my dad was golfing. I was watching my little brothers Nick and Matty, but they wher at the nabores. I was glad that Jake had to go to viset his Dad in Portland. One thing people said to Jake that ticked him off was "the apple dosen't fall far from the tree,". Jake's Dad was seling drugs and was in prison for a long time and still had lots to go.
I jumped of the roof (12 ft tall ) and stuck my landing in the grass. I went in my room and taped my black shoes on. Pulled 30 doler out of my pants from last week and took my iron pill dry.
After I brushded my hair I put on some blue jeens ,a black T-shirt
and the coat Tony gave me. I smelt the colar of the coat it smelt like Danny a little and like old wood in a good way. Tony said "Danny, dont think you can get away from me that easily. Just so like be for." what did he mean do I know him from some where?
No not now I shook arownd trying to get the thots out of my hed. "Not now , its my day off so i will enjoy my self!" I told my self. The phone range I looked at The coller ID. It was Sue frome the book store. "Hi Sue."
"Hello Danny You book is in and I got a new shipment in so when ever you konw."
"O great I come right now! See you in five"
"Okay Bi." she hung up and I did too. I walked out the front door and Matty was crying on the grownd holding his knee. " Huh you fell? If your just going to get hert why do you play so ruf with the nabor kids?"I shied and got the first add kit. We were all moste out of goss from the last time he got hert. I poored some proxside on it and it started to fome.
"Danny! Stupid sisster, that steengs!"Matty wined.
" No it dosen't you babey," i cut my finger a little blood slowly came out I licked it and diped it in the proxside, "see?" I showed him my fomey blood driping finger.
"Your so wierd sis." I fixed him up and left. Half way down the street I herd him screem agen I roled my eyes and cep going.
Yesterday..."Oh right! The book store is right next to the ally so I should go see...Tony." I looked up at the dark bule sky and the grey clouds." Looks Iike rain." I said to my self.
I got to the book store. It seemed like I got there realy fast cus of my day dreaming. I opened the big green wood door and walked in.
"Morning , Danny!" Sew called from the back of the store on her computer.
"Hay Sew." The store never had more than tow or three people in it at onece. I walked up to her passing the book shelvs." you have my book in?" I asked trying to reminde her about it.
" Yes its on the coffie table. Someone came in erlyer and asked if they could read it." she said going back to her computer," Oh! " she said remembering something ," Danny I think the boy is still hear and dozed of wake him up would you?" She got up and walked to the back door. "Im going to the store watch the store for a bit."
"Oh sher." Sew shut the door and left. I looked arownd the books smell cooled me off a bit . Thats just what I needed. I brushed my hand along the books on the selves as I looked at the guy laying on the recliner with my open book on his face. " Great.." he looked tall he was in black pants and black coat with a cluster of veryus sized croses on its side. I nuged his sholder lightly and stood on my knees to levle with him. "Hay sr. Time to wake up." I said softly. He moved a little
"Nnnhh.GO AWAY DAMN IT!!!" he yelled at me swinging up tering the book form his face. I was scard stif I could tell I was white as a goste."Danny?" I snaped out of it I looked up the guy jumped on me.
" Hay what the hell get of you freak!" I yelled at him. He swung me back and forth saying " Yay its you its you!".
"Let me go Damn it!" he held me up from under my arms. I was so dizzy I tryed to look at him. "T-tony?" He was smileing like an idiot. "Idiot." I glaired at him and he sat me in the recliner.
" Sorry. I thot I would have to take you from your house tonight. But now I dont your heer." he said as if a cashuwal thing to say.
"To be honest I dont think your kiding." I did too someone like him saying that would be cashuwal talk." Hay you had my book right?"
"'JTHM' that book is yours? That old lady was saying to be cairfull with it becaus its not hers."he bent down and picked it up from next to the chair handing it to me.
"Yahh..." I bet he thinks Im a freak for reading this thats what problebly put him to sleep.I squeezed the book in my lap looking away from Tony ocwardly.
"I love that book." he said blotly, "I love all the 'Johnny The Homicidal Maniac' books."
"Huhh..." I mumbled under my breth a bit.
We herd the back door open and looked in the back.
"Hay, Im back!" Sue called from the back. I started to walk back to Sue but Tonny grabed me and puled me back to him and crosed his arms arownd my chest.
"Tonny?" I said leting him hold me back with out strugl.
"Meet me in the alley, Kay?" he said in to my ear softly." Don't try to run away. I'll just come and pry you away from Jake no mater what it takes." he let me go not makeing eye contakt with me. There was a wieared pinching in my chest. I clenched my chest threw my shirt.
"Danny!" Sue called, " Did you get you book?" she came up to me from the back room.
"Yahh. I think I'll pick it up later. I forgot my wolet at home. Heh Heh," I just wont to go, but...
"Well okay but are you okay your shaking like a leaf, dear." Sue felt my for hed, " you don't have a feever." she gasped and grabed my sholders, " The guy that had your book did he do anything perverted to you." she had a weryed look on her face. I blushed hard.
" No!" I looked at her earitated, " But... there is his wieared fealing in my chest that I never felt befor..." She looked at me cinserned ,I dont want her to worry." Oh well I'll be fine." I went and opened the front door. " See ya Sue and pleas don't wory about me I'm fine." I waved at her , faked a smile and left.
I took a deep breth and exhaled out my nose. The alley was 2 steps away so I walked in and there was a fue people down in the alley. They had hungry eyes like a lion redy to attack its pray. I walked in little by little, the people were looking at me but wispering to eachother. I tride to look strate but my eyes met with 2 other people. I walked past them but I herd them folow behind me. My heart was starting to pownd faster and faster. I looked for the door from yesterday. The guys behinde me started to laphf. "Damn it." I cursed under my breath and walked a bit faster.
"Hay were do ya think your runing off to?" One of the Guys said grbing my arm stoping me.
"Pleas. Let go of me." I said calmly as I looked down and clowsed my eyes gingerly.
"Tch. Right that will help, you comeing with me and my bubby here." He said moving me to face him and grabed my chin lifting my hed," Hay, Open your eyes ba-"
"Do you have any intenchen of killing me?" I asked him.
"What? on why woul-"
" So you take me and then what you rape me you use me as your slave or beat me to a pulp and expectnuthing to hapen to you. What do you expect to do? Did you even think this threw befor you came up to me? So if your not going to kill me later in your diebolical plan what will you do let me go when I'm 50 what till you or I die of age? What are you going to do with your self? Is this what you will do for the rest of your life" I asked him he was quiet. "Sr. ?"
"N-no just...just go." He said leting me go gently. I opend my eyes and smiled. "Thank you. You realy aren't a bad person." He looked at me blankly with his hed tilted a little. Them opened his eyes widly and steped back.
"Hay are you o-"I started to say as an arm from behined me wraped arownd my neck and one arownd my waste.
"Hello gentle men, I see you have met my girl heer," I looked up and Tonny was looking at the 2 guys with a dark glair. He looked like he was a monster the dim light of the alley. His eyes they normaly were friendly and kind but now they where like 2 black holes that never ended. "Now... I think... I might have saw you not treeting her properly. Do you know what that meens?" He sownded so calm, but then. Tony jumped the guy that had me. He puched he gay repeakedly with anger. The kind of anger and fyery my brothers would use on eachother if they get in to real fights. Tonys anger was 14 times that. The guys face was bleeding bad and he was moneing and not fighting back. Then he stood up and kicked him agensed the wall. Tony had both hands on the wall and was kiking him in the guts. The guys friend and I were frozen. I cant just stand here I have to stop him or Tony will kill that guy soon. I have to move! I ran to Tony and grabed his arm.
" Tony, Stop your going t-" Tony pushed me to the grownd and I cot my self and cut my hand on some glass. "Ahhh." I was bleeding quite some and held my hand to my chest to sotop the bleeding. Tony, he was looking down at me. His hand shakeing down by his sides and standing still. I stood up and whent to the guy he was beeking so did his friend. His friend was smaller and looked only a year older than me.
I felt his puse on his neck and shied. "Is he okay?" his friend asked. I noded and he said, " My name is Al. Umm. I can take him from here." He was going to grabed him when I said " Wate." I put my coat on him andhe looked puzzled." Its starting to rain and you don't have a coat." I said then Al wraped his arm arownd his friend and ran off.
Tony was just standing there, "Tony? Are you okay? " I asked him his back was still faceing me.
" I-I don't know what came over me. I always trash people up but... That was totaly difrent." He sat down with his knees to his face." That was scary I couldn't stop then I even hit you." His voice was muffled with his hand on his mouth. I sat down next to him and rubed his back.
" Hay. You know its fine. You were mad. If some one you reely cair about is in truble or geting hert or someing, your devowed with rage. With rage you get out of cuntrol its okay, you just have to calm down. Every things fine,"I said simplatheticly. He looked up at me with teary eyes. Its funny I never pictuered him to look like this so sad so helpless. He was looking at me and his eyes flicerd to my hand and his eyes buged out.
"Danny your hands needs to be taken care of! You should have told me!" he said hecticly and stood up fast picking me up agen. "Hay put your hood up and pretend to be a sleep, kay?" He said plane faced.
" Umm... Kay? Why?" I asked puting my hood up with one of his arms holding my legs and one my back.
"Im takeing you to the bar to get fixed up by Shailya. You remember her you met her last time." "Oh yahh. But whats with the hood?" He started to walk.
" Well I don't won't the guys to...umm... I gess I don't wont them to see you yet till I can talk to them. " He got to a big grifeaty covered door and kicked it 4 times in a speshal seequence."Sleep." He said a moment later I herd the door opened.
"Sup Tony. Wa Cha got there?" ruff voice asked. Tony said nuthing and pushed threw the door. It was lowed and people cep calling him.
"Tony, man were ya ben?"
"Who the girl ,Tony?
"Tony, get a dreenk and join us!"
"Tony, take a seet!"
"Find a corps ,Tones?"
All I herd was people called and music and clacking of glases with cheers. Tony must be a super star arownd hear, come to think of it as soon as Al and his friend saw him they froz with feer but thees guys wern't like that.
"Shailya!" Tony called the nosie going down slowly but going down."Shaaailyaaaaah!" He cold. "Hay you can be a wake now I opened my eyes. and we were in an old kichen with crates and garbage bags filed with beer cans and soada cans. The tables looked like hell and the oven looked like it had blankets in it. The cuberds were in useable cindishen but didn't shut all the way and there was 2 doors next to the sink and an old set of knives and cuting board right next to the oven.
"Whaat. Gawd." Shailya called back coming from the door farthest away from us."Oh..." she saw my hand driping blood. "Looks like you got a nice scratch on ya, Hu?" She went to a cubord above the sink and reached in.
She was very lean and had lots of freckles that went with her red brown hair. She pulled out a little green metal box with a white cross on it like the one my grampa had from the war. She pulled up a cair and told me to sit.
"Hay Im going to talk with the guys," Tony said going back out to the bar.
"Wow I didn't think you would come back after yester day," Shailya said opening the box and pulling out some proxside and gozz.
"Why's what?" I asked her and she took my hand and pored some proxside on it.
"Well... Danny, Tonys difrent and I didn't think you would come back after all that hapened yesterday with Jake and Tony."
"You know Jake?" I asked swiftly.
"Yahh. He was Tonys wing man about 2 years ago,"she started to wrap my hand up with metical wrap."They always were up to no good and if someone pushed them to far that was the last time they would get a chance."she said finishing up on my hand. I don't know any thing about Tony. I wonder what his perants are doing.
"...umm its not like its any of my bisnes but what about Tony's mom and dad?" I asked.

"Well his Mom was a house wife and his Dad beat her and Tony. When Tony was a kid 8 his teacher saw big hand shaped bruses on him. Shortly after he was put in a foster home In Portland Oregen. Tony didn't won't to leav his mom but he was still scard of his dad. I mean he loved his mother dearly. When Tony was 10 ar 11 he herd on TV that a woman was killed by her husband and the husband shot him self right after. He did some reserch and lerned that it was his parents just as he expected. While up in Portland he met many new people moste in gangs. Living there made hin strong and when he was redey he ran away." she said and took a deep breath,"He has a fake life set up for him to be able to goto school and stuff alternitiv of chores." She got up and reached in to a drower puling out a little switch blade. "Hear," she tossed it to me." Try to be more cairful."she said smiling at me. The kitchen door opened and Tony stood in the door way.
"Come on, Danny." he said he looked much better than before. I stood up.
"Where are we going?" I asked going out the door leaving Shailya in the kichen and slideing the blade into my pocket. I looked arownd there was all the guys in the bar they all looked sober. There was a tall guy with short blond hair and a dorag on his hed. An other guy had black hair that looked died and scars all over his face. Most of them had freaky looking smerks and realy scary up clows. I grabed tonys sleav and he looked at me. His face was saying 'what, there not going to bight, dork.'
"Well..." said a guy with berty blond hair and a kidish face, that was caming up to me, "My names Razz its nice to meet you Danny," he said with a big grin showing no teeth. His eyes where realy pritty they were light light blue with white arownd the rin of the puples. He held out his had.
"Oh, hello. Razz right." I let go of Tony and took Razz's hand. He pulled my hand up to his lips and lightly kissed it. I blushed so hard.
"Okay lets go Danny." Tony took my wraper hand and puled me but Razz still had my other hand. They both had me by one hand and were tuging a little.
"What your going? You just got hear." Razz wined with playfull eyes and mischifus smill.
"Don't even think about it Razz." Tony looked at him glairing. Razz roled his eyes and let go jaming his hands in his pockets.
"Oh, fine." Razz said. He walked about 4 steps and turned arownd. "I hope we meet agen soon Danny, reel soon." he said and left out the back door. His face and his personality were toetly oposets.
"Danny come on." Tony said his face was nornal now.
"Okay."I said and we walked out the front door. It was raining out side and the clouds made are little town even glooier. I always knew that there was gangs in town but I thought they were starting to subside but they are geting bigger.
The town is dieing and every one knows it but I realy do love this town and I don't won't any thing to change. I like the wind and stiff air and even the cold. I don't minde that people come and go, or cheat, hert each other what people do is what they do. I don't think its bad it seams funer this way. Ever sence I met Jake things have picked up arownd hear. I realy just won't town to stay like this. But there is something that is buging me I just don't know what it is, it's like the feeling you get when you walk in a room and forgot what you wanted.
Tony was still holding my hand.
"Tony." I said and he stoped so abruptly that I walked right in to him."Ahh hey! Tony..." I whined. He pulled me behinde his back and put his hand over my mouth. Whats going on.
"Hay Jake," I Tony called out."What'cha doing heer?" He said smoothly. Why was jake heer he never comes to this part of town. What would he do if he saw me with Tony would he be mad. I took Tonys hand off my mouth slowly. I think he knew that Jake was heer.
"I was just looking for someone." Jake ansered. comeing clowser to him."You know Tonny she wasn't at home or at the book store and the store owner said she came by but didn't by a book witch is weared for her. You?" He sounded suspishes.
"I'm just hanging out. The person your looking for...Danny right?" Tony said he was just trying to push Jakes butons. Jake must have ben geting mad. Jake puled Tony from in front of me.
"Danny." he looked mad he grabed my arm rufly. Tony was just standing there. "Tony!" jake growled, "Stay away from Danny. You hear me?" Tryed to keeep his voce down but faled. Tony just stood there looking at him. Why was he just standing there? He almost killed the guy in the aley but he was just stairing at Jake.
Jake jecked me and him back the way he was comeing from befor.
"Jake ease up!" I said because the pulling was right on my scar. He went arownd the corner of the shoe store. My arm was herting realy badly and he was still yanking me down the sidewalk.



After a block or so Jake let go of me and I clenched my arm. My arm was throbing. Jake cept walking so I falowed him. I took half of my coat off and looked at my arm. It had a pink red shaped hand print right on my skar makeing it look like that hand had the scar.
"Danny." Jake said with his back faceing me. I glaired at him even thow he can't see me.
"Hmm?" I said growchly.
"You. You can't...," away from me. He stoped and I poled my coat up just as he moved in front of me grabing my arms and looked into my eyes. "You can never go down there espeshaly to him!" he shouted but tried to stay. calm and failed. I could feel a tear chrical down my cheek I was scard for the first time in my life I was scard of Jake. the person you want to comfort you the most unable too. But I made due. I jumped in to his chest as he let go of me and I through my self into his chest and clang to him sobing.
"IM SORRY JAKE I WAS SO SCARD IM SORRY!" I cried as he gentaly held me to him self silent.

The next day I didnt bother going to school my eyes hurt and my head was pounding. All the things that happened yesterday... I didnt know what to think of it all...
I went down stairs every one was gone the house was too silent. I turned on the t.v. and drank some hot tea.
I felt really bad for makeing Jake worry about me. It sickend me really. I hated my self for it. But a small part of me was just empty or some what happy that I went. The way I felt when I was in the alley that night the cold wind the rain on my skin the Tony, the rush of it all made me a bit giddy.
The day went on like a book at a slow part nothing really hapened untill Jake came over. He was in his uniform, soced to the bone.
"How are you feeling?" he asked me puling off his coat as he came in side.
"Better," I said with a small smile. He sat on the sofa while I made tea in the kitchen.
